The Sophora Headband is a quick, free crochet earwarmer pattern in adult sizes small, medium and large. It uses the shell stitch which looks beautiful and is very simple once you get started – definitely beginner friendly! It’s worked in the round and the shell stitch is an arrangement of single and double crochet, they’re the only stitches you need.
I’m wearing the large in the photo above, which is a little bit big for me but has the extra height for more coverage. I’m loving crochet headbands this year since i’ve been trying not to heat style my hair at all, and wavy or curly hair does not agree with hats! So that’s why i’ve written this free crochet earwarmer pattern, it keeps the ears toasty but with less of the frizz and hat hair.
