The Cropped Cross Tee is a free sleeveless top crochet pattern, perfect as a summer tank top! It’s so quick to make, you’ll want one in every colour for your warm weather crochet wardrobe.
The pattern is a loose, cropped t shirt pattern in sizes XS to 5X and flattering on every size. You can also adjust the length easily by adding more (or fewer) pattern repeats for more of a crochet summer tunic if that’s your style.
My favourite thing about the Cropped Cross Tee is that it’s an easy crochet top patterns for beginners from two pieces, the front and back are exactly the same! With just two different stitches used you’ll have the 2 matching pieces joined together in no time.
By using a light, DK cotton the tee has lovely drape and is a cool top for spring summer weather. Next year, when i’m without a baby bump, i’ll be pairing mine with high waisted denim shorts or jeans and boho accessories. Though I do love this midi skirt combo!

To join the sides, start from the bottom and join upwards, leaving approx (6.5, 7, 7.5, 8)(8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5) inches free for the sleeve space.
Weave in ends to finish off and lightly block if required.
