Free Granny Stripe Crochet Top Pattern

The Georgie Tee is a free, granny stripe crochet top pattern, perfect for summer. It’s a lightweight, sleeveless T shirt pattern to add to your spring summer wardrobe in sizes XS to 5X. The shaping is minimal, so it’s easily adjustable to make it in the exact size or length you want. If you haven’t made a garment before, this is an easy crochet summer pattern that you’ll pick up after a few rows, and the front and back are almost identical.

The pattern is written for a slightly loose fit and sitting above the hip but if you prefer a closer fit then size down by 1. The looser fit is ideal for warmer weather, especially in the cotton or bamboo yarn recommended, and the stitch used keeps it light and airy without being weighed down.

It works up VERY fast, some testers made this in just a weekend!

My black version goes with everything (I had so much black yarn to use up!) so there aren’t many outfits I couldn’t pull together with this, but my favourite is with denim jeans/shorts or a midi/maxi skirt for more boho vibes. Keep it simple in one colour or brighten up with stripes!
