Welcome to the Christmas Santa Hat crochet pattern! This is part 3 of the festive garland series of tutorials focused on providing beginner friendly crochet resources based around Christmas. Head here for other festive fun patterns.
It’s made up primarily two stitches – double crochet and single crochet, and works up really quickly as the cutest garland for a Christmas decoration you can make yourself for your home. It would also make a cute gift, and works individually as a Christmas tree crochet decoration as individual trees. Look out for more free Christmas crochet patterns coming soon!
I’ve used a range of DK yarn from Aldi, a 3.5mm hook and a needle for sewing in ends.
Stitches are in US terms, DC is double crochet, SC is single crochet, SS is slip stitch, 2TOG is single crochet 2 together / decrease, CH is chain.
Stitch count is in brackets at the end of each row.
