Love is in the aiiir… A little chart pattern for February and all the hearts of Valentine’s day. Whether you celebrate it or not, I think we can all agree that any excuse for a blush love heart pattern in fluffy alpaca is a great one! This valentine’s day crochet tapestry heart pattern will provide the basis towards a project of your choice. My suggestions are a cushion cover or a wall hanging, but can be whatever you fancy!
The yarn combo was a dream, WI Soft & Smooth in cream and Leader of the Pac in pink (any Aran combo will do). It will require some close counting / comparison against the chart but is straight forward and uses only single crochet.

The chart below forms the pattern for the heart. The row count is up the sides, the stitch count is across the top and bottom. You can use this same layout to make something bigger, by increasing the white space of the chart – adding more rows or more stitches around the edges. I used the size below but added a puff stitch border to brighten it up a little.
Have a go or pin for later!
